The location was so rad, surrounded by lush landscapes perfect for hike-loving teens like us. We explored the breathtaking Whitby Abbey ruins that felt straight out of a fantasy movie, and then hit up the spooky Dracula's Castle, getting our thrills in style. Can't wait to go back and conquer those walking trails!
Alright, so here's the deal. Drake Cottage was totally fun, but as party animals, we would've loved a killer stereo system to blast our favorite tunes and really get the party vibe going.

We had a fantastic stay at Drake Cottage. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and plenty of walking routes to explore. The cottage itself was warm, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The decor added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. We particularly enjoyed catching the proprietor knocking on our door and peering through the back, thinking we had left. It was quite amusing when caught and he awkwardly explained he was just letting us know the check-out time. We found it endearing and it added an extra layer of entertainment to our stay. Though there were a few drawbacks, like the steep hill leading to the cottage and the distance to the nearest amenities, these didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. We will definitely return to Drake Cottage later in the year to further explore the area. we highly recommend this lovely getaway destination.
